In the autumn 2022, the opening of a new Nordic International School in Ystad is planned for students in grades 4-9. Nordic International School is a growing school company with an international profile that offers bilingual teaching in both Swedish and English. We believe that order and discipline as well as traditional teaching are crucial to ensure a learning environment where students thrive. Our goal is to provide an education based on international research, which we use to develop our concept. We are now looking for an adminstrator who is willing to take on the challenge of supporting the principal in the opening of our new school.
 
Tasks
As an administrator you have an important key role at the school where you have daily contacts with principal, employees, students and guardians. You have the principal as your closest superior. When it is needed you support the management in tasks within the school's management of finances and personnel management. You are responsible for the school's expedition/reception functioning in accordance with guidelines and opening hours. You also work with registration and administration of students and grades as well as administration of abscence for both staff and students. You are responsible for mail handling and purchases at the school. On parent meetings, fairs and other activities on the school you are expected to participate.
 
Qualifications
We are looking for you with previous experience of administrative tasks. You have at least a high school education in administration, economics or similar alternatively a corresponding education. You have basic IT knowledge and you are used to work with different computer programs such as Word and Excel and are use to work in different computer systems. As our school has an international profile, you should preferably speak and write fluently in both Swedish and English, but unhindered language skills in one of the languages are possible for the position.&nbsp;

The schools have an international profile and, based on what the research shows, lead to good knowledge development. Terms
We have a collective agreement and apply “FERIETJÄNST” among teaching staff and “SEMESTERTJÄNST” among support staff. We will carry out a criminal record check of all candidates upon employment.&nbsp;
